Sunday School
Sunday School is for all ages. When you think of Sunday School, you often relate it to children, but adults need Sunday School just as much as small children do. It is a chance to spiritually prepare for worship, and it brings you closer to God. After a long, hard and tiring week at work, Sunday School is a chance to learn and to personally reconnect with God. The only way we are going to teach our children that Sunday School is important is to go ourselves. Our Christian education program is led by capable, committed Christian leaders.
Adult Sunday School at 8:45 A.M. in the Education Building.
Youth Sunday School at 9:45 A.M. except on Communion Sundays.
Children's Sunday School at 9:45 A.M.
Robin is our Sunday School Coordinator and will provide training for anyone interested in teaching and sharing their faith with the children.
Our Children's Sunday School is divided into two classes: ages 3 through grade 1 and grades 2 through 6. We use modern curriculum based on Biblical lessons applied to daily life. Many of our lessons come from kidssundayschool.com. These are supplemented with Great Bible Adventures. Here is our fall schedule:

FaithWeaver Friends meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All school-age children are welcome to attend. We begin with dinner and proceed to Bible story, games, surprise station, projects with a purpose, and music. Our summer break is during July and August.

Our Director of Christian Education and Nurture
Staff member Rebecca has a Child Development Bachelor's degree and a California Preliminary Teaching Credential. In addition to her RUMC duties, she is employed by Vision International in Ramona.
