Activities and Opportunities for Children
Moments with Children during Worship
During the Sunday morning worship service, children gather around the pastor for their special moments.
There are printed children's worship programs at each Sunday morning service.
Sunday School
Sunday School is held at 9:45 a.m. Our Sunday School is a great time to learn about God! Children's Sunday School is divided into two groups: ages 3-grade 1 and grades 2-6. We use modern curriculum based on Biblical lessons applied to daily life. Here is our schedule:

Robin is our Sunday School Coordinator and will provide training for anyone interested in teaching and sharing their faith with the children.
Worship Participation
Children participate in worship by serving as acolytes and by singing in Chorister Choir. This choir includes all school-age boys and girls and they rehearse on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
FaithWeaver Friends
FaithWeaver Friends meets September through June on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. All school-age children are welcome to attend. We begin with dinner followed by Bible stories, games, projects with a purpose, music and a surprise station. Children will experience God's story, understand God's word, and build a forever friendship with Jesus.
Cub Scout Pack 692:
1st-3rd grade dens, 4-5th grade Webelos, active in our community.
Scout Hut Meetings:
Tigers - first Mondays at 3:30 p.m.
Webelos 1 - Every other Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Webelos 2 - first and second Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m.
Bears - first and second Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m.
Wolf - first and second Mondays @ 4:30 p.m.

Little People's Learning Center:
Pre-school day care center open weekdays 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Telephone 1-760-789-3435. FAX 1-760-789-2556. Email lplc@sv-mail.com. Licensed by the California State Department of Social Services, Facility 3376600488, our school is a nurturing, Christian learning center for young children.
Qualified and credentialed teachers give loving care in a Christian environment. Children will develop healthy attitudes about themselves and others; develop an awareness of the small world they live in so they will be prepared to live in the larger world; develop skills necessary for positive experiences in learning. There is new educational manipulative and art material. We have chapel every Tuesday, a fun and fitness time, and once a month the story lady comes. As the children leave our school, they will be ready to attend kindergarten. They will know that Jesus loves them and has made them special.
